Restaurant & Catering

At Villa Söderåsen there is a fully equipped kitchen to use for those who want to cook themselves. If you book the whole house, you can bring in a chef yourself or cook the food yourself or bring in catering. We have seating for about 35 people indoors.

The garden has nice barbecue facilities. You buy charcoal yourself and clean the grills after you. In the garden there is mixed outdoor furniture for 50 people.

If you want to eat at a restaurant, there are several options; creative, locally inspired menus at Stationen, tasting menu at Gästis, Swedish pizza at Roma or classic meatball and shrimp sandwiches at Cafe Fenix.

Hall & Meeting Room

We can offer 3 different rooms for meetings, workshops and retreats. 

For smaller meetings and gatherings, it is very nice to house in our foyer and dining room. 

For larger gatherings, it is possible to book a hall in our neighboring building and Röstångagården which is the village's community center. You can find more information about the different halls and meeting rooms below.

Smaller groups in the house

Villa Söderåsen do not have a separate larger hall inside the main building. For smaller groups who book the whole house, however, the open floor plan with dining room and foyer works very well for lectures, conversations, group work and simple workshops.

Presentation equipment is also available.

Room in the neighboring building

Villa Söderåsen often have access to a very beautiful and bright hall in the neighboring property (1 minute walk), with soothing views of the forest in the national park.

The hall is fully equipped and is ideal for:

How many guests can fit?

The house has a total of 37 beds spread over 13 guest rooms, with rooms of different sizes from single rooms to family rooms.

Are there kitchens that we can use ourselves?

Yes, there is a fully equipped guest kitchen that can be used for self-catering. You can also book catering or bring in your own chef.

What does the bathroom distribution look like?

Most rooms share a bathroom in public areas, and one of the rooms has a private bathroom. In total, there are several toilets and showers in the house.

Can we book breakfast, coffee or packed lunch?

Yes. Breakfast, packed lunch, arrival coffee and afternoon coffee can be booked as an option when booking the whole house.

Can we book activities in connection with the stay?

Yes. It is possible to book, for example , guided walks, yoga, meditation, creative workshops or lectures. The area also offers activities such as hiking, cycling, canoeing and swimming.

Are there premises for meetings or larger gatherings?

Smaller groups can use the building's foyer and dining room. For larger groups, a room in the neighboring building or Röstångagården can be booked through us or directly through the organizer.

Are there offers for smaller groups?

Yes. On weekdays, there is an offer where you can book at least 6 B&B rooms and get the house exclusively including breakfast buffet (applies to certain periods).

How does the garden and outdoor environment work?

The garden is furnished and has barbecue areas and seating for larger groups during the summer months. Charcoal is brought by guests and the grills are cleaned after use.
