I guide you - into nature and into yourself

Balance, freedom, presence and primordial power are key words in my life - and my intention and drive in everything I do. It is also what I wish to share and guide you into, through movement, breath, stillness and nature's intelligence. 

I have practiced yoga and meditation for over 25 years, I am a certified yoga teacher since 2011 - trained in Classical Yoga & Meditation (Satyananda Yoga), SamaYoga (Hatha/Qigong fusion) and continuously immerse myself in Vedanta - Vedic wisdom. I am also a certified nature guide through Söderåsens nationalpark, and grounding guide through Earthing Academy. Together with Sebastian Mullaert , I own and run Villa Söderåsen B&B & Gatherings - a unique place that enables meetings between people, with nature but also a place where you can have peace and power to meet yourself.

 I live and guide in the middle of Söderåsen's powerful nature, all year round and regardless of internal or external weather. Every opportunity that is given, I am out - from longer lonely hikes and overnight stays in shelters with my boxer Indra, to shorter trips with cold baths in Odensjön. The more time I spend outside, the more elementified I become—my own word for the ability to experience earth, water, fire, air, and ether out in nature and all the way into the body, the nervous system—the primordial force within the being. Something I love to share when I guide, not least in Forest Yoga - full or half days in nature presence but hiking, yoga, meditation and grounding. 

My teaching is soft and alive – sometimes quiet, sometimes liberating. Through somatic exercises, conscious movement, breathing, rhythm and nature, space is created for the body to release tension, regulate the nervous system and land deeper into itself.

Forest yoga & elementification

A full day in nature presence with hiking, yoga and meditation where we get to step out of the noise of everyday life and into a state of elementification - my word for the deeply human ability to experience earth, water, fire, air and ether out in nature and all the way into the body, in the nervous system - to feel the primordial force within the being. 

The forest does not judge. The body does not judge. Here you get to be just as you are.... in allowed "just be"... and let nature do what it has always done... balance, regulate... soil. Come out with us -  to reconnect, remember and let it take root again.

The breath is pure magic

A living connection between nature outside and the landscape within us - between body and spirit. Every inhale carries a new beginning, every exhale an end. A constant movement, a life cycle in miniature. 

Just like nature, the breath can heal, balance, and regulate us — especially when we face it with presence. In all the weathers of life, from stress and sadness to joy and ecstasy, conscious breathing is one of the most powerful tools I feel. I am deeply in love with the breath and love to guide pranayama and breathing techniques that create more balance and freedom.

Self-retreat with Åsa

Are you longing for recovery, clarity, or a new spark in your creativity? 

Treat yourself to your own retreat – a tailor-made break for being, reflection and deep integration. Surrounded by nature on Söderåsen and in the gentle coziness of Villa Söderåsen , your own time is woven together with guided classes, hikes and personally held sessions with Åsa. A tailor-made retreat to and for you for 2-7 days.

Nature guide

I guide you – into nature and into yourself. 

With nature as a space and presence as a method , I offer everything from exclusive 1.5-hour individual sessions with pranayama and cold bath/ice Odensjön, to full days of guided mindfulness walks for groups of up to 15 (max 20) people. My focus is not on biology or natural history, but on conscious presence of nature - a guided walk where reconnection with nature and yourself is at the center. Grounding Guide

Since 2023, I am a certified grounding guide through the Earthing Academy, and grounding (Earthing/Grounding) is woven both practically and theoretically into my nature guides. Standing barefoot on earth is magic for real. Mother Earth, the battery of batteries, charges us with her electrons, balances the body's free radicals, and promotes healing and anti-inflammatory processes. We are created to belong together – body and earth – and being grounded is a direct path to energy, balance and healing. I guide you to reconnection, to remember the most natural and obvious. Talk about primordial power!

Do you need help arranging your Retreat or Workshop?

In addition to running a B&B and guiding in yoga, meditation and nature experiences, Åsa also arranges and coordinates retreats, workshops and unique happenings for other inspiring people who choose to book their participants on Villa Söderåsen or hold their event in Röstånga.
