If you are a group, you are warmly welcome to Villa Söderåsen. We recommend you to rent the whole house for yourselves. You may arrange parties, reunions, weddings and other gatherings.
For those of you who arrange retreats and company events, Villa Söderåsen with its homely and cosy vibe and surrounding nature and activities is a nice and popular alternative to conference venues and course rooms.
Villa Söderåsen has 40 beds in 14 guest rooms of different categories (bathrooms are in the corridors nearby). The house has a spacious foyer with a connected eating area that can be furnished for your needs. There is also a large garden suitable for outdoor classes or gatherings and lectures, or perhaps just to play and have a good time! You can serve yourselves or choose to order our services such as house breakfast, catering, waiter service etc.

Workshops / Retreats

Yoga, meditation, dance, music, song, art – lectures and courses. There are many possibilities to meet for workshops, retreats, and gatherings of all sorts at Villa Söderåsen.
Villa Söderåsen has 40 beds in 14 guest rooms of different categories. The house has a spacious foyer with a connected eating area that can be furnished for your needs. There is also a large garden suitable for outdoor classes or informal gatherings and lectures, or perhaps just to play and have a good time!
You can cook together in our fully-equipped kitchen, or you can order in from one of our many local catering partners.
It’s your choice to take care of meals yourself, order catering or to choose another service from Villa Söderåsen for a fee. You can always order the house’s fresh breakfast .
Villa Söderåsen has basic presentation equipment for use, as well as rental possibilities for sound equipment, instruments, and recording equipment for those who are interested.
If you need a larger hall for your event, we work with the local community center Röstångagården which is located 5 minutes from Villa Söderåsen. Röstångagårdens has a room around 100 square-meters with a wooden floor, fine acoustics, and is spacious and light. It is suitable for up to 80 persons and also has a large kitchen, tables and chairs.

Meetings And Company Events

Villa Söderåsen and the nature surrounding it are the perfect place for informal company events such as small conferences, meetings, team building, hackathons, etc…You can have your group in the foyer or eating area, out in the garden, or maybe along one of the National Park’s inviting hiking trails.

Its easy to order snacks, the Villa Söderåsen breakfast buffet, or catering from our local partners.
Röstånga, the national park and its surrounding offers many activities that suits your meeting, you can visit and try the village’s local microbrewery or maybe an outdoor activity such as canoeing, Trolley cycling or riding . As a group you could take a yoga class or choose to paint Mandalas. You could even learn to cook True food with our local culinary artist or test yourself on a slackline. It’s possible via Naturum to book guided tours of the National Park..

Birthday Parties, Family Reunions, Christmas, New Years, Easter, Midsummer. Have a party with your closest friends or family, and have the whole house to yourself for a day, a weekend or a week. Prepare a large party in the garden with around 35 people living in the house, or rent the village’s community center which has a large hall that can sit 80 people and fea- tures a large fully-equipped kitchen.

Weddings

Celebrate the big day at Villa Söderåsen. Invite your nearest and dearest to your wedding ceremony/celebration at Villa Söderåsen and the National Park. Party for a day or maybe three.

Seating for 35-40 people is possible on the first floor. In the summer, larger parties can be prepared outside in the big garden. For bigger gatherings its possible to rent the local community center Röstångagården. It has wooden floors, fine acoustics, and is spacious and light. It is suitable for up to 80 persons and also has a large kitchen, tables and chairs.

Prices And Info

All prices include VAT, linen (bedsheets and towles) and a full house clean-up after check out but exclude breakfast, catering and optional extra service. You sign a liability agreement with information about fire protection and the house’s guidelines etc. before you rent the house.

Winter Season: November 1 – March 31

exceptions are Swedish and Danish school leave days and holidays/weekends. For these dates the prices are the same as for Summer season. By weekends we mean Friday-Sunday (weekend 3 nights: Thursday – Sunday or Friday – Monday).

  • Weekend 1 night = 12 000 kr
  • Weekend 2 nights = 20 000 kr
  • Weekend 3 nights = 25 000 kr
  • Weekday 1 night = 12 000 kr
  • Weekday 2 nights = 16 000 kr
  • Weekday 3 nights = 20 000 kr

+ 4 000 kr /extra night.

One week = 48 000 kr

Fall/Spring Season: September 1 – October 31 and April 1 – Midsummer

  • Weekday 2 nights = 19 000 kr
  • Weekday 3 nights = 30 000 kr

+ 6000 kr/extra night

Summer Season (& big holidays): Midsummer – August 31

Under the Summer season  and holidays we rent the house out for a minimum of two nights. For Christmas and Midsummer we rent it out for a minimum of three nights.

  • 2 nights = 33 000 kr
  • 3 nights = 45 000 kr
  • 4 nights = 56 000 kr
  • 5 nights =  67 000 kr
  • 6 nights =  78 000 kr
  • One week = 89 000 kr

Checking in and out

Check-in always starts at 3 PM and check-outs latest at 11 AM. Earlier check-in or later check-out requires an additional days rent.

Payment

We take a 20% deposit fee, non refundable when you book the house and the rest of the amount five weeks before you arrive. Cancellations are due the latest five weeks before arrival. If canceled later than five weeks before arrival, the total amount will be charged.

Villa Söderåsen has

  • 40 beds in 14 guestrooms.
  • Seven double rooms with one having a double bed and balcony, the rest have twin beds. Two of the rooms can accommodate an extra bed.
  • Two double or 3-bedded rooms with balcony. 
  • Three roomy triple rooms with space for an extra bed.
  • Two large rooms, spacious as double- or 3-bedded rooms or with beds to families of 4-6 persons when bed sofa and pullout bunk bed is used.
  • Toilets and showers are accessed in the corridor.
  • Max 43 sleeping guests in the house.
  • Max 50 guest inside.

Breakfast & Catering

Villa Söderåsen features a fully-equipped kitchen for those who want to make their own food. If you’d like to buy breakfast we offer a fresh breakfast buffet, with many organic options: 90 kr/pers. Children 0-3 years: free. Children 4-12 years: 45 kr.  More info here.
If you’d like to order catering, we can recommend and contact a number of local partners. With payment we can even order and deliver the food. We can also offer help in the form of decoration, preparation and setup of a buffet, dishwashing, etc. for a fee.


Linens and Towels

When renting the whole house bed linen and towels are included. Beds are made on arrival. 

Cleaning

Full house clean-up on checkout is always included in the rental. You do still need to recycle and throw out your garbage, also to wash, dry and put back in place all what is used in the kitchen. If you wish to refurnish to suit your gathering you are welcome to do so, but you always need to put the furniture back in place before departure. You are also required to clean the grills if using them and put back furniture in initial place in the garden.

If you rent the whole house for a longer period, you can order extra cleaning service and additional bed linen and towels, price according to agreement.
